Ken started his photography career training in Phoenix, Arizona under master photographer Steven Lawther, studying artistic portrait and wedding photography. After completing his apprenticeship with Steven, Ken opened his first portrait studio in Mesa, Arizona in 1989. His love for sports compelled him into the sports photography business shortly after the studio opened.

Twenty two years later and now one of America's premiere sports photographers, has photographed sports teams from YMCA's to High Schools and Universities. From team pictures to capturing the action in all sports.
From Football to Dance, from Baseball to Gymnastics, he has personally photographed well over 250,000 players and participates.

Ken owns both Colorado Youth Sport Fotos and Images by Dey Photo Gallery in Northglenn, Colorado. His Nature and Wildlife images are also hanging in homes and businesses across our great country.
